Our Mission

Outlanders Progressive Bluegrass Social Club is a 501c(3) organization of forward thinking, fast pickin’ musicians and patrons of acoustic community driven music in all its formats.

We don’t want to get into the weeds of saying “Well that ain’t bluegrass” or “Well that ain’t how Earl woulda played it”. Just the opposite, Bluegrass, Tradgrass, Old Time, Djangograss, Irish Session, if it can be played acoustically in a circle it’s probably right up our alley.

Host Jams

We host jams of different skill levels and genres, with the goal of creating a comfortable environment for pro level pickers, and beginners alike.

Produce Concerts

We put on shows that show the breadth and styling of the musical groups who participate in our Outlander scene.

Educate

We host beginner friendly group classes as well as provide a list of teachers within the Outlanders Social Club who can teach any willing heart the beauty of progressive bluegrass.
