Judge

  • Instrumental tunes only

  • Qualifier round limited to 3 minute performance

  • Final round limited to 5 minute performance

  • One backup musician permitted per round

  • Competitors must perform different tunes each round

  • Players will be assigned a random number and called by number only

  • Judges will deliberate from a separate area

  • Top 3 competitors from qualifiers advance to finals

Rules

  • 2 rounds 

  • Qualifier round starts @ 3PM Sharp, all contestants must be ready by the start of the competition 

  • Finalists will perform back to back during the Opry

  • Winner will be announced during the headliner’s set
